Simon Wariu Kihereko

 1948-2018

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Simon Wariu Kihereko on 11th August 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Son of the late Stephen Kihereko and the late Priscilla Wanjiku of Kijabe. Son-in-law of Beth Kimemia of Escarpment. Husband of Jane Wanjiru Simon. Father of David and Eunice Kimemia (USA), Stephen and Florence Kihereko, Priscilla and Edwin Mwangi (UK), Beth Wangari, and Hellen and Michael Ngari. Grandfather of Emma and Jasmia Kimemia, and Janine Stephen. In-law of the late Simon and Emily Kago of Karen, Samuel and Wahu Nyaga of Wangige, Francis and Lucia Ndung’u of Githunguri and Bernard and Patricia Ngari of Karatina. Brother of Hellen Waweru, Joseph Githengu, the late Dorothy Ng’ang’a, Ruth Wanjiru, Abraham Kamau and Rachel Njonjo. Cousin and Uncle of Many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at the family residence in Komarock, Infill B. Hse 163 from 6pm and at his Parent’s home in Machani, Kijabe.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 15th August 2018 at A.I.C. Komarock from 6 p.m.

The cortege leaves Kijabe Hospital mortuary on 17th August 2018 at 9 a.m. for a funeral service at AIC Machani, Kijabe and thereafter a burial at his home in Machani.
