We celebrate the life and with humble acceptance of God’s will announce the sudden passing of our dear mum Mrs Lucy Muthoni Muchonde of Ngaindeithia, Kiriita location, Nyahururu County.

Beloved wife of the late Mr David Muchonde Ngaruiya. Daughter of the late Jacob Mbugua and Sarah Wamaitha. Loving mother of the late Samuel Ndung’u, late Jacob Mbugua, late Mary Wairimu, late Stephen Njenga, Jospeh Maina, Francis Muturi, Jayne Maina, Margaret Njeri and Ann Wanjiru. Sister of the late Sammy Warui, late Daniel Gichuru and Moses Kinuthia. Mother in law of Elijah Maina, Bernard Churu, Dickson Ndung’u. Grandmother of David Ngaruiya, Samuel Kariuki, Lucy Muthoni, Michelle Maina, Manuel Maina, Shalene Njambi, Alvin Muraguri, Lucy Waithera, Lucy Muthoni and Lindsey Muthoni.

Great Grandmother,Aunt and Friend to many.

The cortege will leave Nyahururu Referral Hospital on Tuesday 5th September at 9am and the funeral service and burial will be held same day at the family home from 10am.

Mum you fought the good fight, you kept the faith and finished the race. Fare thee well!
