Sister Esther Mwihaki Gathura

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Sister Esther Mwihaki Gathura of Jirani Estate Njoro on Thursday, 30th July 2020.

Daughter of the late Mr. Kariri Kibiru and late Wanjiru Murugi. Wife of elder Stephen Gathura (Njugi) of World wide church-Shekinah Njoro. Mother of Jemima Nduta Kamara (USA), Michael  Gathura (Njoro), Hannah Wanjiru Gathura (USA) Eunice Gathoni Gathura (Njoro) and Emily Nyambura Gitonga (Busia). Mother in law of Willy Kamara (USA) and Charles Gitonga (Busia). Foster mother of Douglas Mugiri and Titus Mwangi. Sister of the late Kibiru, the late Mwangi, the late Burugu, the late Njoroge, the late Nyambura, Mary Murugi (Kabazi) and the late Njeri. Aunt of Ndicu, Wanjiru, Nyambura, Karanja, Wambui, Mwihaki Gathura Kimani, Gathura, Nduta and Muniu. Grandmother of Stephen Njugi, Martin Maina, Ian Njugi, Joseph Githiri, William Kamara, Esther Mwihaki, Treza Wambui, Leah Nyambura, Esther Kamara, late Brian Kiarie and Esther Terry Mwihaki.

The cortege leaves Egerton University funeral home on Wednesday 12/08/2020 at 8.00 AM followed by a funeral service and burial at their home in Jirani Farm Njoro.

Mum Esther, you have fought a good fight of faith, completed the race and have kept the faith. (2nd Timothy 4:7)
