Sister-in-Christ Lay Canon Mama Faice Mayabi Omoyi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Sister-in-Christ, Lay Canon Mama Faice Mayabi Omoyi which occurred on 20th July, 2023 while undergoing treatment at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Esther Namakwa Osuru. Daughter-in-law to the late Ibrahim and Monica Lukoba.

Beloved wife to the late George Omoyi, Loving Mother to Abigail Taabu, the late Samuel Odhiambo, Geoffrey Omoyi,Vincent Osuru and Samson Lukoba. Mother-In-Law to Rufus, Godliver, Lydia,Alice and Nancy.

Sister to the late Moses Wesonga, Joel, the late Judith, Jackline, Rose, Kaburu, the late Khaaba, Simon, Florence, Margaret, Alice, Uncle Lunjalu and the late Joseph.

Sister-in-law to the late Peter Okuku, Morris Odulwa, Janet Muyere, Maximilla Njoroge, Pricilla Ojwang, the late Nelson Maloba, the late Henry Wafula, Hannington Barasa,Adhiambo, Patrick Nyongesa, Nekesa, Khadudu,Thomas Lukoba.

Co-wife to Prisca Okuku, Fanice Odulwa, Manea Maloba, Christine Lukoba and Emily Odulwa.

Grandmother to Joseph, Eunice, Ruth, Faith, John, Joy, Aydan, Dylan, Ashley, Bridgette, Imelda, Elizabeth, Joshua, Gabriella, Lisa, amongst others. Great grandmother to Emannuel, Ibrahim and Joshua. Aunty to Nesbitt, Steven, Edward, the late Bertha Wesonga, Charles, Michael, Robert, Dorothy, Night, Mildred, Edith, Esther, David, Carol, Mary, Jacqueline, Catherine, Phillip, Leonard, Kennedy, Kaunda, Patrick, Paul,Wandera, Michael,Arthur, Ben, Irene,Valentine among others. Dear cousin to Hon.YFO Masakhalia, the late Luke Obanda, among others. In-law to the Afandes and Mukandas.

Family, Relatives and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements today the 27th July, 2023 starting from 5.00p.m. at All Saints Cathedral, this will be followed by a fundraising on 29th July, 2023 from 12.00 noon at the same venue.

A memorial service will be held on 1st August, 2023 from 2.00p.m. at All Saints Cathedral.

The cortege will leave Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral Home off Mbagathi Road on 3rd August, 2023 and proceed for a funeral service at St. Thomas Cathedral Nambale before proceeding to the home church in Buloma Village, Nasira Sub-location Matayos Busia County. Thereafter the body will stay in vigil for burial on 4th August 2023.
