Sister-in-Christ Ruth Wanjiru Ngure Kagira

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our loving mother, grandmother, friend and Sister-in-Christ Ruth Wanjiru Ngure Kagira of Kanderendu, Makomboki Location, Kigumo, Muranga County which occurred on Tuesday, 17th October 2023.
She was the loving wife of Moses Ngure Kagira.
She was the second born daughter of Samuel Kamau Thure and Esther Wanjiku Kamau of Kanunga, Gatanga. Her siblings are Rose Nyambura, John Njoroge, Peter Kibote, Emmah Wangari, Sarah Njeri, James Maina, Joseph Muthua and Beatrice Wairimu.
A doting mother to Kennedy Kagira, Samuel Kamau, Esther Wanjiku, Grace Waithera and Rachel Njeri. Mother-in-love to Tabitha Wanjiku, Beth Wacuka, Victor Komu, Simon Wanjue and Lawrence Nijoroge. She was a grandmother of 12.
Sister-in-law to Eliud Kagira and Grace Wanjiku, Racheal Ndegwa (Israel), Jennifer Wangui, the late Patrick Njuguna and Beatrice Waithira, Charity Waitherero and Dr. Nixon Kagutha, Daniel Kagira and Agatha Munyaka (KRA), Elias Kiarie (Nazarene) and Dr. Kimani (Catholic University), Dr. John Kagira (JKUAT) and Anne Karanja (KRB), Grace Waithera. Peter Karani and the entire Kagira family.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kanderendu, Makomboki Location from 3.00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati, Kenol on Thursday, 26th October 2023 at 7.30 am. The funeral ceremony will be conducted at her home at Kanderendu, Makomboki Murang’a County at 10.00 am and thereafter burial to take place at the same venue.
