It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Solomon Wachira Mwai on 25th April, 2023.

Loving husband to Judith Ruguru Wachira.

Son to the late Godfrey Mwai Nguma and the late Phoebe Njeri Mwai. Brother to the late Lincoln Miano, the late Winfred Wangui Waitara, Gideon Nguma Mwai, the late Benjamin Mutua Mwai, Wambui Njuguna, Emily Wakiuru Mwai and Ephraim Machira Mwai (Gathii).

Father to Fibi Njeri Wachira, Esther Wanjiku Wachira and Winfred Wangui Wachira. He was a father-in-law to Simon Guandaru and David Macharia. Loving grandfather to Precious Macharia, Patience Guandaru, Patience Ruguru and Jasime Guandaru. He was an uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his home Gitero, Nyeri from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on 5cn May, 2023 at 9:30am. The funeral service will take place at Gitathini Primary School and later be laid to rest in his farm at Gitero.
