Sr. Petronila Warue

The Sisters of St. Joseph of the Catholic Archdiocese of Mombasa regret to announce the death of Sr. Petronila Warue, which occurred on 14th December, 2022 after a short illness.

She was born in Kyeni village, Runyenje location Embu County, Kenya. She served as a Religious Nun for 54 years.

Daughter to the late Mr.Tadei Mughocho and the late Mrs. Eusebia Ronje. Sister to the late Sr. Carmelina Marigu, the late Cilino Ndwiga, Augustine Ngondi, Cycily Thaara, Andriana VVarue and John Nyaga.

The cortege leaves Shelter of Hope Mission Hospital at 8.00am. Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday 21st December 2022, at 10.00am at Bura followed by burial at the Sisters’ Cemetery in Bura, Taita Taveta County.
