(SSP) John Mwangi Kariuki

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) John Mwangi Kariuki of Kenya Police College Kiganjo, which occurred on 19th June, 2023, at War Memorial Hospital, Nakuru after a long illness bravely Bourne.

He was son to the late Benson Kariuki Nyuguto and the late Margaret Wanjiru Kariuki. Son-in-law to Joseph Murigi and Lucy Wanjiru.

John was the loving husband to Loise Nyambura and a doting Dad to Margaret Wanjiru, Ben Kariuki, Joe Murigi, and Jeiel Maim.

Brother to Rosemary Njoki, Charles and Sarah Maina, James Ndirangu, Jane and David Mane, David and Hannah Mwathi, Linus and Rahab Karibe.

Brother-in-law to Marion Wajiku, Mary Nduta, Paul Wangai, Jane and Collins Ochieng. Favorite uncle, Cousin, and great friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home Mairo lnya, Nyahururu daily for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Mortuary on Tuesday, 27th June, 2023 at 9.00am for a funeral service and burial at his farm in Mutathini Village, Rugongo Sub-location, Kabazi Location (near Kabazi High School), Subukia Constituency, Nakuru County.
