Stanley Macharia Kagio (Shujaa)

1924 – 2022

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Stanley Macharia Kagio which occurred on 23rd May, 2022.

He was beloved husband to the late Flora Nyambura Macharia. Adoring father to the late Mary Wangui, the late Agnes Waithera, James lrungu and Eunice Irungu, John Mbugua and Rakel Mbugua, Mwangi Macharia and Anne Mwangi, Catherine Nieri, Trezzer Wanjiru and Billy Waweru and the late Nancy Wanjiku.

Son to the late Kagio Wanderi and the late Mary Wangui Kagio.Brother to the late Wanjeri, the late Njoki, the late Waruguru, the late Josephine Nyambura and the late Mugeci.

Brother-in-law to the late Gathiongio, the late Ndirangu, the late Njoroge, the late Nelius Njoki, the late Kahari, Janet Wangeci, the late Joyce Waiyego, Ephantus Waweru, Monica Muguru, Laban Maim, James Gichuki, the late MaryWanjiru and Josephat Kabugi. A doting grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather to many.

Prayers and meetings are ongoing at Tumaini House (opposite Kencom, Studio One), 7th floor and Varsityville Estate, Ruiru at 5:30pm.

There shall be a Sunday Service at Ruiru-Varsityville at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Tuesday 31st May, 2022 at 7:00 am for the burial at his Ithanga, Kakuzi home in Muranga County.
