We are saddened to announce the death of Stephen Gakuru Thuku.

Son of the late Silvanus Thuku Gakuru the late Catherine Wangari Thuku. Son inlaw to the late Peter Kuria Kiarie and Margaret Mugure Kuria.

Dear-husband to Leah Wambui Gakuru, loving father to Caroline Wangari Gakuru, Margaret Mugure Gakuru & the late Reuben Thuku Gakuru. Grandfather to Jeremiah Gakuru & Alexandra Wambui.

Brother to Philomena Wanjiru Mbugua, the late Veronica Wambui Njoroge, Margaret Wanjiru Gitungo, Teresa Wangu Hatim, Jacinta Wanjiku Thuku, Jane Thuku, Ritta Wanjiru Macharia, Martha Thuku & Salome Thuku.

Brother in-law to Jane Nduta Macharia,the late James Kiarie Kuria, Rose Njeri Kimani, John Ng’ang’a Kuria, Virginia Mumbi Kuria & Alice Wanjiru Kuria.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on 21/03/2023 at 7:30am. Funeral mass will be held at St Peters & Paul Catholic Church Kiambu at 11.00am and thereafter final internment rites and burial at Kihingo village, Riabai Kiambu County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Kihingo village, Riabai Kiambu County for prayers.
