Stephen Gathumbi Mwaura

It is with great sorrow but with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Stephen Gathumbi Mwaura on 28th June 2018.

Husband of Ruth Wangari Gathumbi. Father of David Mwaura (Kagaa), Mary Wakonyo Kibe (Riamute), Grace Njeri Njau (Kagaa), Rahab Nyakio, Dr. Hannah Wambugu (Kirinyaga University) Samuel Ndiba (TelPosta Pension Scheme), Peter Waweru (Kisii), Naomi Wanjiru Laban (Roselle Academy), Elizabeth Wambui Thuku (Gwakanyua), Sarah Wangui Gachwe and Simon Njau.

Father-in-law of Tabitha Njeri, the late Kibe Njenga, Peter Njau Muigai, Dr. Antony Wambugu (UON), Rebecca Wambui Ndiba, Grace Njeri Waweru (Amarimba High School Kisii), Laban Kung’u (USA). Cyrus Thuku (Njabini Polytechnic), Elijah Gachwe and Rachael Wambui Njau. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

Burial preparation and prayers are being held daily (4.00pm) at his home, Ngeteti village Githunguri Sub-county.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral home Githunguri on Wednesday 4th July 2018 at 9.30a.m.

Memorial service will take place the same day at AIPCA Ngochi from 11.00 a.m. and Interment later on at his farm , Ngeteti village near Ngeteti tea buying Centre and Ngeteti dispensary.
