It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Stephen Kihara Mwangi (S.K) that occurred on Wednesday, 26th July, 2023 at KNH Othaya Hospital, Nyeri.

Son to the late Mwangi Kimani and the late Grace Wangari. Son in law to the late Johnson Karanja and the late Mary Kirigo.

Beloved Husband to Lydiah Kihara and father to Caroline Kirigo, Grace Wangari, Ann Nyambura and Lisper Wambui.

Brother to Geoffrey Kimani, Ann Nyambura, Eunice Wambui, Peter Kamau, Susan Njeri, Joyce Wanjiku and Stanley Ndung’u.

Brother-in-law to Charles Guandaru, Nancy Wangui, Margaret Njoki, Ayub Nderitu, Jane Njeri, Mbugua, Gladys Wanjira, Simon Kahiro and Elizabeth Nyambura.

Father-in-law to Timothy Nderitu.

Grandfather to Nicollete Wanjiru, Jayden Wahome, Tiffany Theru, Dalton Kihara, Yitzhak Kagame and Tatiana Wangui.

Uncle to Catherine, Grace, Mwangi, Morris, Mwaura, Lilian and many more. He was a cousin and close friend to many.

The cortege leaves Mwai Kibaki Funeral Home Othaya on 2nd August 2023 at 8.00am. The funeral service will be held at ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral Church, Nyeri from 10.00a.m and burial thereafter at his home in, Kagayu, Skuta, in Nyeri Municipality.
