It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Stephen Kimani Munene on 19th June 2018.
Loving son of David Munene Kahoya of Kiunyu Village, the late Grace Ngina Munene and Monica Wanjiku Munene. Loving husband of Nelly Wambui Kimani. Father of Reyhan Munene Kimani and Lorraine Ngina Kimani. Brother of Irene Wairimu and John Kimotho (USA), Catherine Njeri Munene (Canada), Joyce Nyokabi and Khamani Peele (USA), the late Geoffrey Kahoya and Salome Wairimu Kahoya (NRB), Michael Mbugua Munene and Hellen Mbugua (Kericho).
Brother-in-law of Antony Zakayo Waiganjo (NRB) and Anne E. Muthoni Waiganjo (Kikuyu). Uncle of Grace Ngina, Moses Kimotho, Ngina Kahoya, Joshua Kimotho, Tamaya Peele, Patience Kimotho, Mathias Munene Peele, David Munene Mbugua, Samuel Mbugua, Jordan Munene, Bellanca Wairimu Muthoni, Grace Ngina Mbugua. Son-in-law of Jackson Waiganjo of Kigoro and Rose Wairimu (former Principal Mary Leakey Girls School).
Friends, relatives and family are meeting daily at his father’s home Kiunyu Village for prayers and burial arrangements.
The cortege leaves General Kago Funeral Home Thika on Wednesday 27th June 2018 for funeral service at Kiunyu Village starting at 11.00am. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his father’s Kiunyu Farm.

It is with profound shock to learn of the passing of Stephene this late. I knew him while in Baltimore USA. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal paradise.
