It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Stephen Musyoka Kaundu, a retired aircraft engineer at Kenya airways that occurred on Tuesday, 9th May 2023 at The Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

Son of the late Kaundu Mukuuta & late Mary Njeri. Son in-law of the late John Munguti Kingali & late Benedatte Munyiva Munguti.

Husband to Marietta Mueke Kaundu. Father to Josephine Nduku, Robert Mutinda, the late Erick Nzuki, Fredrick Mwaka, Virginia Mwikali, Leonidah Mwelu & Brian Mutua. Father-in-law to Samuel Manthi, Jane Mulisya, & Caroline Atieno.

Brother to Kalondu, Kitondo, Mwelu, Ndunge, Kitheka, Mbako and Mutua (all deceased). Brother in-law to Elizabeth Nditi, Kanini, Mukonyo, Wambua, the late Ndumi and the late Mutiso.

Grandfather to Nelson, Dennis, Kevin,Valentine, Emmanuel, Anne, Fidelis, Marietta, Muema, Marcos, Brandon, Stephen, Benedict, Josephine, Sylvia, Gift, Arthur, Munyiva and Muriithi, among others. Great-grandfather to Rose,Vallarie, Felix,Veronica, James, Muteti & Renelle.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Homeland Hotel -Thika Road from 5:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Treatment and Referral Hospital Mortuary (By-pass) on Friday, 19th May 2023 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and interment at his Mbiuni home in Kikae Village, Nyanyaa Sub-location, Mbiuni Location, Mwala Sub-county, Machakos.
