Stephen Ogega Monda

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Stephen Ogega Monda which occurred on 21/07/2021 at Coptic Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer.

He was the loving husband to the late Joyce Monda, father to Jane Ondieki (Ministry of Co-operatives) & the late Samuel Ondieki, Lawrence & Mekdes (National Museums of Kenya), Ronald & Sheila (ROM ENT Ltd) Catherine & the late Peter Sangu (Orkeju Resorts), Bonita & Eliud Kuluo and Benard Monda (Enkare Hotel).

He was the son to the late Charles Nyabote Monda and the late Tabitha Bikondo Monda of Nyanchwa, He was brother to Pherus Monda, the late Ratemo Monda, Beatrice Kemuma, Peter Monda (USA) and Agnes Monda (USA). He was the son in law to the late Senior Chief Zacharia Angwenyi, the late Ruth Angwenyi and the late Maria Dolorosa Angwenyi.

He was brother in law to former PS William Mayaka & former PS Alice Mayaka, Anne Ocharo, Teresia & Zacharia Omenyo, Mary & the late Alloys Tumbo, the late Isaac & Moraa Angwenyi, John & Lucy Angwenyi, Regina & the late Daugracious Nyamwaya, the late George & Jane Tumbo, Rose & Zacharia Mogeni, Pamela & Dr Gidebn Ragira, Victoria Angwenyi (Director Ministry of Education) & Ronald Angwenyi, Josphine, Margret & Salome. He was Uncle and Grandad to many and a great great Grandfather to one.

There will be a memorial service at CITAM Karen on the 27/07/2021 from 2:00pm.

The cortege will leave for Kisii on the 28/07/2021 from Umash Funeral Home. Burial and Service will take place on the 29/07/2021 at his home in Nyanchwa.
