Stephen Ratemo Maina
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Stephen Ratemo Maina, formerly of Kenya National Audit Office (KENAO), that occurred on 17th April, 2023 at the Kenyatta National Hospital – Nairobi.
Son to the late Reuben Maina Ondieki and the late Esther Kerubo Maina.
Beloved husband to Ruth Okioga Maina, formerly of Nairobi City County (NCC). Father to Geoffrey Manoti and Julius Okioga. Father-in-law to Emily Nyatichi. Grandfather to Adiah, Naliah and Julietta.
Brother to Nathaniel Maina, Michael Momanyi, Julius Ogembo (the late), James Abuga (the late), Peter Ndemo (the late), Moraa Omayo, Nyamoita Achoki, Kwamboka Masaka, Elizabeth Mokaya, Hepsibah Maina, Clemencia Maina.
Brother-in-law Modester, Mellen, Caren, Margaret, Carol.
Son-in-law to the late Mary Kwamboka Okioga. In-law to the Okioga family. Brother-in-law to Margaret, Nyabaro, Lumumba, Kennedy, Evelyne (the late).
Semo to Charles Ratemo, Nyachieo, Derrick. Korera to the Omwanzas and Mokeras.
Cousin to Hon. Jimmy Angwenyi, Kibagendi, Atunga, Daniel (the late), Richard, Peter (the late), George (the late), Job, Japheth, Obonyo and many others.
Uncle to Vincent, Johnstone, Lynda, Jessica, Oyaro, Geke, John, Nyariki, Nathan, Dennis, Justin, Duke, Edward, Otochi, Paulo, Brian, Marion, Natalie, Mary and many others. A friend to many.
Fundraising will be today Tuesday 25th April, 2023 at Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell), Milimani Nairobi from 5.00pm.
A service will be held at Karengata SDA Church at 8.00am, on Thursday 27th April 2023.
The burial will be on Friday 28th April, 2023 at his home in Metembe, Kisii County.
