Stephen Wachiuri Thuku

It’s with profound grief that we announce the demise of Mr. Stephen Wachiuri Thuku on 23/3/2023 after a long illness.

Affectionate husband to Rachel Nyaruai Thuku.

He was the loving son to the late Paul Kuiyukia Thuku and the late Zipporah Wangechi Thuku. Son-in-law to the late Joseph Ndegerege and the late Jerioth Kabui Ndegerege and Rhoda Wairimu Ndegerege.

Devoted father to Felix Thuku Wachiuri, Joseph Ndegwa Thuku, Zipporah Wangechi Thuku, Paul Kuiyukia Thuku, Peter Kimani Thuku, Regina Kabui Thuku and Fr. Dominic Ngunjiri Thuku. Tender Granddad to Gloria Mary Nyaruai, Mitchel Nyaruai, Sophia Nyaruai and Greyson Wachiuri.

Brother to Esther Wahito, the late Nderitu Thuku, the late Bancy Mumbi, the late Grace Wanjiru Kanyoro, the late Simon Muchemi Thuku, Stanley Githae Thuku and Kariuki Thuku.

He was the Brother-in-law to Rahab Wanja, the late Agnes Wanjiru, Bernadette Wairimu Kiama, the late George Kimani, Miriam Muthoni, the late Rosemary Wanjiku Komu, Hiram Ngunjiri, Ruth Wanja lrungu, the late George Ngare,Wilson Mbuthia, the late Grace Wamuyu and James Karuthii.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, 3/4/2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Kiserian starting at 11:00am, presided by his Lordship Bishop John Oballa Owaa Catholic Diocese of Ngong and thereafter the burial at his home in Kiserian Ole-Mioko area.

Daily masses are on going at 4.00pm daily until Saturday at his residence.
