Steven Kigotho Gachunga

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of Steven Kigotho Gachunga of U.S.A Massachusetts and Old boy Lenana High School which occurred on 5th January 2019.

Son of the late Francis Gachunga and the late Beatrice Muthoni. Husband of Naomi Nyawira Kigotho. Son-in-law of the late Charles Ndung’u and Zipporah Wangeci (Munyange, Othaya in Nyeri). Father of Sylvia Muthoni (UoN), Francis Gachunga (K.U) and Annabell Wangeci (JKUAT). Brother of Samuel Mbaya, Loise Nyambura (Kenyanjeru), Julius Njuguna (Nairobi), John Githuku (Kitale), Joseph Mwangi (Kisii), late Margaret Wanjiku and Monicah Wangui (Kiru).

Meetings are at Timboroa hotel in Nairobi from 6.00pm daily, daily in Thika at Flame tree estate makongeni from 5.00pm and at home Kayu, Kihoya Location.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Wednesday 16th January 2019 at 7:00am. Funeral Service will be held in Kayu A.C.K Church at 11:00am, thereafter the body will be laid to rest in Kayu Village, Kihoya, Rwathia Location, Kangema Sub-County, Murang’a County.
