Sydney Fanuel Otieno Oyugi

We are saddened to announce the untimely death of Sydney Fanuel Otieno Oyugi which occurred on January 8th, 2020 after a short illness due to Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA). Until his death, Sydney was a pupil at Star Sheikh Academy in Kitengela.

He was the firstborn of Irene Atuta Atela Oyugi and Ken Alfred Oyugi. Brother of Jayden Buxton Oyugi and Maryfina Davina Oyugi. Grandson of the late Fanuel Otieno and Mary Achieng’, and Buxton Awn Andieri and Josephine Ongaya Atuta. Great-grandson of Leonida Muguna and the late Mzee Alfred Oyugi Angola. He was a cousin of Kelvin, Stacy, Angel, Sally, Valarie, Brian, Leon, Tania, Sharleen, Latoya, Tamira, MoizeLeroi, Ugochuku, Leslie, Brandon, Cherize, Raymond, and Amani. He was a nephew of Eddy, Churchill, Fredrick, Ibrahim, Caleb, Kennedy, Rhoda, Norah, Susan, and Leonida.

Relatives and friends condole with the family daily at their residence at the Great Wall Gardens in Athi River.

A fundraiser to facilitate the process of laying the body to rest will be held on January 15th; 2020 at All Saints Cathedral from 5 PM. Regular contributions for the same can be directed to MacDonald Omondi, MPESA number 0701173892.

The body will leave UMASH Funeral Home on January 17th, 2020 for Gem Kodiaga where he’ll be laid to rest on January 18th 2020.
