Sylvester Ondieki Ouya

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Sylvester Ondieki Ouya on 25th May 2023 at the Karen Hospital, Director and Founder of Gethsemane Home.

He was the third born son of Zachariah Ouya and Hannah Moraa.

Husband to Ruth Wangui. A loving father to Damaris Nyaboke, Robert Okora and a dad to the Gethsemane family.

Brother to the Late Charles, the Late Jane, Sarah, Sophia, the Late Rose, Wilfred, Richard and Felisters.

Brother-in-law to Gladys, Maina and Leah. Grandfather to G.V Hans, Alfayo, Lavender, Eldovice, Braiden, Shantel, Jayden,Angel, Melvin, Amelia,Tinarex, S. Nyairo and S. Nyakang’i.

An uncle to Teresa, Evans, Eric, Peter, Benjamin, Martha, Duke, Fallery, Dobline, Oscar, David, Fridah, Juliet, Rosemine, Olivia, Clinton, Mackline, Griffin, Ricky, Mercy, Thomas and Martha.

A cousin to Elias, Grace, S. Omete, Richard,Thomas among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Garden Square and at Gethsemane home from 5:00pm.

Fundraising shall be held on Sunday, 4th June 2023 and on Tuesday, 6th June 2023 at Gethsemane home as from 2:00pm.

Memorial service will be held on 7th June 2023 at Deliverance Church Ngong from 3:00pm.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, 8th June 2023 at Kisoronye home (Upper Matasia).
