Appreciation
We, the family of the Late Sylvia Nekoye Simiyu, express our profound gratitude for the overwhelming kindness and support extended to us following Sylvia’s passing on the 18th of June 2023 and subsequent internment on 1st of July 2023.
We would like to extend a special appreciation to Rev. Bernard Busolo (King Jesus Church, Kamukuywa), Bishop Ken Baraza (New House of Grace, Kakamega) and Pastors Ian Bisset and Steve Mutura (CITAM – Karen) and their entire pastoral teams for their invaluable spiritual and moral support to the family and friends throughout Sylvia’s sickness and after her demise.
Our sincere gratitude to the medical teams in Kiambu, Nairobi, Kakamega and Bungoma for their professionalism and dedication. A special thank you to Doctors Muema (St. Bridget) Yash, Harshil and Munga (Nairobi West), Dr. Musa (Nairobi County), Dr. Eric (Lifecare, Bungoma) and the entire medical staff in those hospitals.
We are also deeply grateful to our Leaders who spared their valuable time to condole with the family and support us morally and materially.A special thank you to the Speaker of the National Assembly Rt. Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, H.E. Governor Sakaja A. Johnson, H.E. Governor Ken Lusaka, CS Susan Nakhumicha, H.E. Deputy Governor Njoroge Muchiri, Senator Wafula Wakoli, Hon. John Waluke, Hon. Fred Ikana, Hon. John Chikati, Hon. Tim Wanyonyi, Hon. Members of the Nairobi and Bungoma County Assemblies, CECMs and Chief Officers of the Nairobi County Government amongst many others.
The family is greatly indebted to our extended family, led by Chairman Eliphaz Wesang’ula. We are sincerely thankful for your kindness, prayers, financial and material assistance, as well as your physical presence throughout our period of bereavement.
Moreover, we are immensely grateful to the many friends, associates, colleagues and neighbors in Meru, Nairobi, Kakamega, Bungoma and Kitale who consoled us, dedicated their time to assist with the funeral arrangements, and continuously held us in their prayers.
To the Funeral Organizing Committees in Nairobi and Bungoma, thank you for making it possible to give Sylvia a befitting and dignified send-off.
As it may not be possible for us to express our gratitude individually, please accept this message as a token of our love, deep appreciation, and heartfelt thanks for standing by our side during this challenging time.
