Symon Njagi Kithinji (Njagi Wa Gatiri)

It is with God’s acceptance that we announce the passing on of Simon Njagi Githinji which occurred on 25/10/19 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Githinji wa Njagi (B.E.M) and the late Nesther Wandugo Githinji. Husband to Beatrice Wughanga Njagi (Kubo). Father of David Tayo, Hamilton Githinji, Kennedy Kamara, Pauline Wanjiku (Nabwana), Jedidah Muthoni (Kawuki) Njagi and Adam Kubo. Father-in-law of Violet Tayo, Carol Kithinji, Elizabeth Kamara, the late Lawrence Nabwana, Patrick Ogai and Trizah Kubo. Grandfather of Symon & Betty T, Nancy & Symon G, Sheila, Sidney, Raisa, Sean, Josiah, Craig, Ray-Frank, Betty K, Hope and Dre. Great grandfather to Five (5). He was son in-law of the late Livingstone Kubo and the late Jedidah Kawuki. Brother of the Wangeci Nyamu, (Late), Ephantus Kenya (Late) and Danson Njogu (Late) Brother-in-law of James Nyamu, Frida Wangeci Kenya, Julian Micere Njogu, James Tayo (Late), Hon. Mwacharo Kubo, Hon. Joyce Mwangoji among others.

Family and Friends will be meeting daily at his home Ithare-ini, as well as All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi at 6.00pm.

A major fundraiser will be held on Wednesday 2nd October at 6.00pm at All Saints Cathedral.

The cortege will leave Kibugi Funeral Home, Kutus, on Saturday 5th October 2019 at 8.00 am. Funeral service will be held at ACK Church Ithare-ini from 10.00am and thereafter, the body will be interred at the family home in Ithare-ini village, Kabare location, Gichugu sub-location, Kirinyaga county.
