It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Mum Mrs. Tabitha Ikamba Kagina on 26 January, 2023, after a short illness while undergoing treatment at Consolata Hospital Kyeni in Embu County.

She was the beloved wife to the late Ex-Senior Chief Silas Kagina.

Daughter of the late Munyi Mururu and the late Mbilia Nyamu.

Devoted mother to the late Samuel, the late Mary and the late Elias Sumuni, the late Mike and the late Sarah, Jane and the late Peter Mugambi, Judy, Winnie and Dr Eliud Nguyu, the late Jeanrose, Adrine and Stephen Thuo, the late Maureen, and Tony and Selina.

Sister to the late Beth Obadia and the late Jackson Njeru.

Sister-in-law to Margaret and Benjamin Matheka, the late Anestacia and the late Francis Nguru.

Doting grandmother to Joe, Lena and Timothy, Willie and Mercy, Kennedy, Barbara, Brian,Valarie,Wendy, Arnold, Felix, Gloria, Kevin, Sammy, Paul, Zippy, Mike, Ann, Kelly, Brett, Bob and Leonella. She was blessed with 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers from 5.30pm at her home, Karimari village near Kiritiri town.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023 at 9.00am for the funeral service at her home in Karimari village, Mbeere South Sub-County, Embu County.
