Tabitha Magoma Onchuru

1953 – 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Tabitha Magoma, wife of Mr. Abner Onchuru Matoke (Rtd Headteacher) of Rianyagechanga/Nyairicha (Nyamira town).

Daughter of the late Misiani Ogweche (Asara) and mama Nyagucha Misiani of Nyambogo Botabori Sister of Misiani, Rael, Bosibori, Atuti and others. Mother of James, Bonareri, Naomi, Peter, Ogao, Nyabuti, Bruce, Mackenzie, Pamela, Matoke, Raini, Nyaroko, Grace, Nyasuguta, Josiah, Zachariah and Ramona.

Mother-in-law of Everlyne, Kwamboka, Josephine, Stella, Truphena, Dinnah, Dorcas, Morangi, Jane, Sarah, Kennedy, Misiani, Nyachae, Aunga, Obare and others. Grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister-in-law of Nyakondo, Gichana, Kemoni, Nyaruri, Ogao (all late), Daniel, Moraa among others. Aunt of Onyancha, Mottanya, Nyaruri, Matoke, Momata, Okenye, Chumbi, Osoro, Daniel & Atuti among others.

She died while undergoing treatment at The Nairobi Hospital. Friends and relatives are currently meeting daily at Garden Square – Nairobi and her Nyairicha home from 5pm for the funeral arrangements, which will be announced later.

A major fundraising will be held on Tuesday 7th August 2018 at Professional Centre in Nairobi and Nyamira, Nyairicha home towards offsetting the huge hospital bill and funeral expenses.

We loved you more but God loved you most. Rest in peace mum.
