Tabitha Wanjeri Kamau

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Tabitha Wanjeri Kamau on 13th May 2019 after a short illness. She hails from Kiandai village, Ndia sub-county in Kirinyaga County.

Loving wife of Arthur Kamau Macharia. Doting mother of Andrew Macharia, Timothy Gathere, Mary Wangui, James Kanyingi, Milka Muthoni, Stephen Mwangi, Martha Wamaitha and Naomi Wanjiru. Mother-in-law of Mary Mukenyi, the Late Tabitha Njoki, Nancy Wairimu and Rev. Fred Warui. Daughter of the late Timothy Nyagitheri and the late Milka Muthoni Timothy. Daughter-in-law of the late Andrew Macharia and the late Mariamu Wangui from Kenya Njeru, Kangema, Muranga County. Sister of Naomi Wanjiru Gichuki, the late Stephen Mwangi and Rtd Rev. Geoffrey Maina Nyagitheri. Step sister of Hiram Mwangi, the late Mary Nyakinyua Kagoi, the late Josphat Thuo, Geoffrey Kanyi and the late Lilian Wangeci. Grandmother of Everlyne, Gladys, Tabitha M, Tabitha K, Isaac, Alvin, Joan, Blessed, Adrian, Calvin, Precious Hope, Victor, Austin, Upton, Allan Payton, Ashley & Arthur.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at ACK St. Stephen’s Cathedral Jogoo Road at 6pm and at their home at Kiandai, Maitharuui sub-location, Ndia sub-county, in Kirinyaga County.

A Memorial Service will be held at ACK St. Simon’s Kiamumbi near Kahawa West opposite Jacaranda Estate, Nairobi on Sunday 19th May 2019 at 3pm.

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home at 7am on Tuesday 21st May 2019 for the funeral service and burial at their Kiandai home in Maitharuui sub-location, Ndia, Kirinyaga County.
