Tabitha Wanjiru Mathuku

In humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of Tabitha Wanjiru Mathuku which occurred on 6th
November 2023 after a short illness.

She was the wife to the late Joshua Mathuku.

Daughter to the late Martin Gakere and Margaret Murugi.

Sister to Margaret Wambui Muya, and the late Francis Wanjohi, Agostino Kariuki, Joseph Kibue and Loise
Wairimu.

Mother to Lucy Kwendo, Jane Wangari, Patrick Kamau (US), Michael Gakere (UK), Caroline Wamuyu, Nicholas
Kariuki, the late Jennifer Muthoni and the late Anthony Mwangi.

Mother-in-law to Wilby Kwendo, Grace Kamau, and Fauzia Gakere.

She was an aunty to many. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and burial arrangements daily at 5.00 pm at her Kantafu, Kangundo Road home.

There will be a memorial service at 2.00 pm on Sunday 19th November 2023 at Bahati PCEA Church, Nairobi

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary at 8.00 am on Tuesday 21st November, 2023 then proceed to the Kantafu home for the funeral service and burial.
