It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs Tapsabei Chelangat Chumo (Cheboserser) of Masare Village, Cheboin Location, Longisa Sub County of Bomet County which occurred on Wednesday 16th October, 2019 while undergoing treatment at Kericho Outpatient Hospital.

Wife of the late Tapsore arap Chumo. Co-wife of the late Chemarus Chumo and daughter of the late Serser arap Sosobe and Mrs Chepositienei Sosobe. Sister of the late Kimore arap Serser, the late obot Kiprob, the late Tapletgo Ngasura and the late Tapkesos Maritim. Sister-in-law of the late Kipkemoi arap Mosonik, the late chepkelat arap Mosonik, the late Korgoren arap Chumo, the late chesimet arap Chumo, the late Kaliasoi arap Chumo, the late Cherobon arap Chumo, the late Tapkesos obot Kiprugut, the late obot Sonoiya, the late Obot Ludiah and the late Langok. Mother of Raeli Bartegan, Joel Terer, Zedy Chepkwony, Linah Chepkwony and Eng. Joseph Kiprono Terer, CECM for Roads, Public Works and Transport of Bomet County (Formerly Managing Director of KERICHO Water & Sanitation Company LTD). Step-mother of the late Obot Suser, the late Obot Paulo, the late Jeremiah Terer, the late Elizabeth Laboso, the late Joseph Cheruiyot Terer and Rebecca Cheriro. Mother-in-law of the late Kipkorir Bartegan, Pastor Joseph Chepkwony and James Chepkwony. She is survived with 5 children, 51 grandchildren, 164 great-grandchildren and 51 great-great-grandchildren.

Fund raising in support of the funeral will be conducted on Wednesday 22nd October, 2019 at Masare home ground starting at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Siloam funeral home on Friday 25th October, 2019 at 11.00am for church service at St. John Bosco Kimugul Catholic Church in Longisa Sub-county at 2.00pm.

Funeral program will start at 9:30am, on Saturday 26th October, 2019 and church service will start at 2:30pm at her home in Masare Village, followed by the burial ceremony, thereafter.

Mama, you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept the faith.
