It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Teresia Nieri Waweru who rested in the Lord on 12/11/2022.

Daughter to the late Stephen Gichia Gachukia and the late Lucy Wanjiru Gichia.

Cherished wife of the late Peter Waweru Mungura and beloved mother of Stephen Koigi Waweru & Rose Gathoni Koigi, the late Michael Gichia Waweru, Anthony Muiruri Waweru & Milcah Muthoni Muiruri, Joseph Gachukia Waweru & Lydia Wairimu Gachukia, Samuel Mburu Waweru & Mercy Kendi Mburu, the late Agnes Wanjiku Waweru.

Adored grandmother of Mercy Njeri Koigi, Peter Waweru Koigi, Duncan Mureithi, Teresia Njeri Koigi, Teresia Njeri Muiruri, Peter Waweru Waweru Muiruri, Lonah Njeri Gachukia, Jedidah Wanjiru Gachukia, Robin Waweru Gachukia, Peter Waweru Mburu, Felix Koome Mburu, Allan Koigi Mburu. Great grandmother to Ethan, Reign, Liam, Shanell, Stephen and Nathan.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at her home Gaitara, Kawira village and at her son’s (Koigi) home at Utawala, Nairobi at 4.00pm daily.

The cortege will leave K.U Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 22/11/2022 at 8.00am and thereafter the burial service will be held at St. Angel Gabriel Catholic Church – Kawira.

You shall be dearly missed for we loved you deeply.
