It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the sudden death of Teresia Nyakinyua Weru, which occurred on Sunday 17th April 2022.

She was the caring wife to Francis Weru (Technical University of Mombasa).

Beloved mother to Michael Mwaniki (Citi Bank), Simon Munyeki (EMU) and Mary Wanpku (Little Flower Nursery, Ruai).

Mother-in-law to Diana Mwaniki (Scanbic Bank) and Lydia Munyelti. A loving grandmother to Ethan, Liam, Nate and Nixon.

Daughter to Cecilia Munyeki, and the late Francis Munyeki Wanjohi of Endarasha and a daughter-in-law to Alice Mwaniki and the late Mwaniki Weru of Karatina.

Sister to Beatrice Wanjiru, Irene Nyawira, Chivies Wanjohi, Ann Wangeci (all late), Solomon Mwangi and Nancy Mukami.

Sister-in-law to Joseph Mat tinge, Jecinta Wanda, Elizabeth Ngima, Gladys Muthoni, Sister Esther Ngima (of the Incarnate Word Sisters), Rachel Mwangi and Peter Kimwere among others. She was an aunt, a cousin, a niece and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at their home in Donholm Phase SG (Hse No. 264) every day at 3pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There wilt be a requiem mass on Friday 22nd April 2022 from 2pm at St Andrews Edelvale Church, Jacaranda, Donholm. Burial date is set for Monday 25th April 2022.

The body will leave KU Funeral Home at 7am, with , the church session at Ngandu Catholic Parish (Next to Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls’ High School), Karatina, Nyeri County, from 10am thereafter the laying of the body ceremony at tier matrimonial home in Kaiyaba Village.
