Teresia Nyokabi Mwaura

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden demise of Teresia Nyokabi Mwaura on 11th November 2019, after a short illness bravely borne. Until her demise, she was the Technical Manager, Limuru Water and Sewerage Company Limited.

Daughter of the late Gerald Njuguna Kihogo and the late Julia Wairimu of Makwa, Mang’u, Kiambu County. Wife to the late Peter Mwaura Waweru. Daughter-in-law of the late Justus Waweru and Grace Wambui of Fly-Over, Magumu, Nyandarua County. Sister of Patrick Mburu, Peter Ndung’u (Mwaganu), the late Benaddette Ngonyo, the late Njeri Muchiri and the late Elizabeth Wambui. Sister-in-law of Hannah Wanja, Boniface Njenga, Ruth Njoroge, Stanley Ngugi and the late Paul Chege. Mother of Justus Waweru (Equity Bank), Gerald Njuguna (Finland), Grace Ngina (Grace Abounds Consulting) and the late Winnie Rose Wairimu. Mother-in-law of Rebecca Mwende (Co-op Bank) and Maria Mwaura (Finland). Grandmother of Rynia, Renee, Olivia and Edith. Step-sister, niece, cousin and aunt to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Limuru town, behind the law courts from 4.00pm for burial arrangements. The journey to lay to rest Teresia will begin from Uphome Funeral Home, Uplands on Tuesday 19th November 2019 at 8.00am and proceed to Loromo ACK church for the funeral service from 11.00am.Thereafter she will be laid to rest at her home in Ngarariga, Limuru.
