In peace and gratitude, we celebrate the transition to glory of our dear Teresia Wangari Kamweru (Triza) for a life beautifully lived. She peacefully rested in the Lord’s embrace on Thursday, 16th October 2025, after bravely and faithfully battling illness.
Triza was the cherished wife of Samson Mwangi, formerly of Equity Afya and The Nairobi Hospital. She was the devoted mother of Aryanna Wanjiku, Arthur Mwangi, Alex Kamweru, and Aydan Munjogu — all at Nova Pioneer.
She was the precious daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Kamweru of Mugumo, Kiambu, a beloved daughter-in-law of Mr, & Mrs.Wilfred Mwangi of Kimunye, Kirinyaga.
A loving sister of Caroline Wambui (Maxam) and Nicholas Munjogu (M-Pesa Africa), and a treasured sister-in-law of Pauline, Julius and Sicily, Alice, Lucy, Kinyati and Wan-luyu. She was an affectionate auntie of many.
Triza was a beacon of love, kindness, and faith – a blessing to all who knew her. She previously worked with LICT, Population Services International (Tanzania), and Unilever (Vietnam, Tanzania, and Kenya). She was a committed and active member of Ridgeways Baptist Church.
Prayer meetings are being held every day at Golden Palm Estate, Njathaini Road, her parents’ home in Mugumo, Kiambu and Kimurtye, Kirinyaga.
Any support to be channelled to M-Pesa Paybill Number 8022758, Account Number: Your Name.
A celebration of life Memorial Service will be held at Ridgeways Baptist Church, Off Kiambu Road, on Wednesday, 22nd October, from 1:00 PM.
Her final send-off will be on Friday, 24th October, beginning at 6:30 AM from Lee Funeral Home, as we accompany her to her peaceful resting place at the family home in Kimunye, Kirinyaga.
Her gentle spirit arid unwavering faith will forever remain a light in our hearts.
