Thomas Mbui Mburu

5th May 1971 – 2nd May 2023

It is with great sorrow that we the family of Francis Mburu Mwangi announce the passing on of Thomas Mbui Mburu. after a short illness on Tuesday 2nd May 2023.

He was the beloved son of the Late Francis Mburu Nwangi andVeronica Nyambura Mburu. He was a grandchild to the Late Erastus Mwangi (Kambui) Kamau Ngemi and the Late Rakeli Waithira Mwangi; the Late Leonard Murigi Wanninyu and the Late Margaret Njeri Nurigi.

Thomas was a cherished brother to John Murigi and Miriam Ndunge: Richard Waithaka and EmilyWanjeri: Pamela Waithira: Winnie Njeri and Wairimu Mburu.

He was a nephew to Philip Kinuthia and MaryWanjiku: Lawrence Macha•ia Mwangi; Felicina Wangari: Dr. Fetistus W. Njuguna and Benson Njuguna Kariuki: Tabitha Ngigi: George and Grace Nluiruri amongst others.

He was a doting uncle to Nyambura and Kamau Waithaka; a dear cousin and friend to many.

Family, relatives, and friends are meeting at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday 8th May and Tuesday 9th May 2023 from 5.30 pm – 8.00 pm.

Daily meetings are also being held at the family home, Ruby Estate, South C, Nairobi from 5.30 pm – 8.00 pm.

A requiem mass to celebrate his life will be held at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, South C, Nairobi on Wednesday 10th May 2023 at 2.00 pm.

The cortege will depart from Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 13th May 2023 at 8.30 am for a funeral service at the Mukuria Family Home, Ruchu Ward, Kandara Sub-county, Murang’a County at noon. Interment will follow thereafter at the same venue.
