It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Thuku Karara Kariuki (Mzee Wakarara), on 18th March, 2023.

Son of the late Williamson Gitu and the late Leah Wanjiru. Son-in-law of the late Samuel Karanja and the late Peris Wanjiku.

Husband of the late Phyllis Wanjiru. He is survived by his children Jane and Duncan Kiama, Gitu, Samuel and Agnes Karanja,Wanjiku, Geoffrey and Winfred Kariuki, Wairimu, Pst. Eng. James and Catherine Njuguna.

Brother to the late Kariuki,the late Peter,Wairimu, Mbugua. Brother-in-law to Njoki, the late Njuguna, the late Njeri, the late Kuria, Mbugua, Munyori. Beloved grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home (Kahawa West) on Tuesday 28th March, 2023 at 09:00am for the funeral service at Kabati, Murang’a on the same day starting from 10:00am.
