Tirrus Mutunga Eliud, Chief Air Traffic Controll Officer, dies at 52

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority regrets to announce the sad demise of Tirrus Mutunga Eliud which occurred on 24th August, 2019 at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi. Until his demise, he was a Chief Air Traffic Control Officer at the Authority’s Headquarters at Aviation House, Nairobi.
Beloved son of Eliud Muindu Mutungi and Rose Kutina Mutungi. He is survived by his two wives Caroline Mwikya and Judy Mutua. Loving dad of Brandon Mutungi Mutunga and Unfold Kitavi Mutunga. Brother of Daniel Mutuku, Chris Mawia, Susan Nthambi and Josephine Kanini. An uncle and cousin of many.
There will be a funds drive to meet the burial expenses on Thursday, the 29th August, 2019 at the Holy Family Basilica Nairobi, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
The body of the late Tirrus Mutunga Eliud will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Machakos on Saturday, 31st August 2019 at 8.00am for the final resting place at Ngiluni Sub-location, Kiteta Location, Kisau Division, MaKueni Country.
