It is with deep acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Tirus Kubu Kimunyi, which occurred on 07/09/2022 at Outspan Hospital.

Son to the late Kimunyi Kubu and the late Leah Thogori. Husband to Magdaline Nyambura. Brother to the late Kiere Kimunyi,the late Gichongeri, the late Martha Ituha, Ruth Wanjiru and Mary Njeri. Father to Charles Muturi, Charity Muthoni, Edith Wambui, the late Martha Ituha, Esther Wangechi and Robert Kiama.

Father-in-law to Mary Wangui, David Murigu, Patrick Kibarua and Loise Ngonyo.

Grandfather to Tirus Muturi, Kevin Muturi, Robert Muturi, Christine Muturi, Stacy Muturi, SeanTirus Muturi, Eric Murigu, Tirus Murigu, Julia Karigu, Lynne Karigu, Rose Karigu, Harriet Njeri, uliet Nyambura, Magdaline Kiama, Jane Kiama and Tirus Kiama.

Great-grandfather to Travis Kubu, Sophie Kubu, Nicole Njoroge, Scott Njoroge, Owen Gitu, AnnBrenda Kariuki.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 16/09/2022 for burial at his farm in Kiamururu village, Mukurweini. The funeral service will be conducted at Kiawamururu playground.
