Tom Fred Osinde Mokaya

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, we announce the sudden death of Tom Fred Osinde Mokaya, Formerly of The National Treasury, which occurred on 18th June, 2023.

Son of the late Johnsilas Osinde, the late Mrs. Teresa Nyagechanga Osinde and Martha Kemunto Osinde of Nyansiongo Settlement Scheme, Gesibei.

Son-in-law to the late Enoch Semiti and Penninah Semiti and the late Abednego Anjalo and Jerusa Anjalo.

Loving husband to Sarah Njeri Semiti and Susan Anjalo Mokaya. Father to the late Olivia Mokaya, Steve Mokaya, Brenda Mokaya, Ashley Mokaya, Brandon Mokaya and Cherise Mokaya. Grandfather to Liam, Adrian, Nathan and Mather–in-law to Ann and Stewart.

Brother to the late Norah, the late William Momanyi, Geoff Mainye (Canada), Caren Nyanchama, the late Amb. Ken Osinde, the late Pamela Kimani, Lameck Makini Osinde (Canada), the late Douglas, the late Veronica, Truphena Nyangara, the late Bob, Rose Alabaster (Geneva), Sophie Ogega (USA),Vivian Ongwae, Maurice Omwansa (USA) and Nemwel Enock Osinde (USA).

Brother-in-law to Flora Momanyi (USA), Fay Mainye (Canada), Rose Makini (Canada), Judith Nyauncho, Graham Alabaster (Geneva), Isaac Kimani, Ogega Edward (USA), Penuel, Lydia (USA), Milkah (USA), Jenipher Anjalo, Roselyn Anjalo, Lucy Anjalo, Jessica Anjalo, Doris Anjalo and Paul Anjalo, Edna Semiti, Peris Semiti (USA) and the late Neema Semiti. Loving uncle and cousin to many.

A fund-raiser to help defray funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday, 11th July 2023 at the Old Sanctuary, Maxwell SDA Church, Milimani Road – Nairobi, at 5.30 p.m. Contributions can be sent to the Funeral Committee, Mpesa Pay-bill No: 8007151, Account No: Your Name.

A celebration service of Tom’s life will take place at the New Sanctuary, Maxwell SDA Church, Milimani Road – Nairobi, on Thursday 13th July, 2023 at 9.00am.

The burial will be held on Friday 14th July, 2023 at his farm in Ngata, Nakuru County
