It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that ACK Nambale Diocese announce the passing on of Ven. David Ouma Wanupi.

Son to the late Morris Nyangweso and Mama Teresina Nekesa of Namusasi Village.

Husband to Mama Florence Nasirumbi Wanupi. Loving Father to Norah, Sharlyn, Rodgers, Aggrey, Petynah, Elizabeth and Peter. Grandfather to Ryran, Whitney, Junior, Mary and Laelynn.

Brother to Francis, Catherine, the late Vincent, Jenifer, Lawrence, Milton, Zablon and Roseline.

Father-in-law to Yonah Okado, Kevin Nyongesa and Nelly lsheri who is daughter to the late Canon Joseph Lutta Isheri and Mama Edith Ombiso.

The cortege leaves Tanaka Nursing Home on Thursday 2nd March, 2023 for requiem mass at ACK St. John Lugulu Church. Thereafter, the cortege shall proceed to his home in Mulwakari Village, Nambale Sub-county, Busia County (via ACK St. Mary’s Mulwakari Church) and overnight vigil at his home. He will be laid to rest at his home Mulwakari Village, Nambale Sub-county, Busia County on Friday 3rd March, 2023.

“Though we will miss him greatly, we rejoice in his triumphant return to his Heavenly Father.”
