Veronicah Wanjiku Wakang’u

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Veronicah Wanjiku Wakang’u (Nyina wa Tumuti) of Gathanga village Kiambaa Sub-county Kiambu County, which occurred on the morning of 4th August, 2022.

Wife to the late Joseph Wakangu Tumuti (Gathanga Success). Daughter to the late Phares Kiarie Mwangi and the late Monicah Njeri Kiarie.

Mother to the late John TumutiVVakangiu, Peter Kiarie Wakang’u, the late James Itibi Wakang’u, George Mwangi Wakang’u (Gathanga Motor Spares), Lucy Muthoni Ngangara, Elizabeth Njeri Gathu, Anne Nyokabi Kimani (Swepco General Agencies Nyamakima).

Mother-in-law to Esther Wanjiku Tumuti, Josephine Wacu Kiarie, Alice Nyambura Itibi, Peninnah Wanjiku Mwangi, George Ngangara Boro, James Kimani Mwangi and late John Gathu Njiraini. Grandmother to many and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangement at her home in Gathanga Village, Kiambaa Sub-county, Kiambu County.

The cortege will leave KU Teaching and Referral Hospital, along the Northern Bypass, Kahawa West, Nairobi on Thursday 11th August, 2022 at 8.00am, for the church service St. Joseph Catholic – Gathanga Parish at 11.00am and there after for burial at her farm in Tigoni Farlyndum Estate.
