Viona Anyango Okumu

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Viona Anyango Okumu, of Ulwani, Ugunja Sub-county, Siaya County on 15th July 2021.

Daughter of CPA Paul Timothy Okumu Agoro (Agoro & Associates Ltd) and Mama Margaret Adhiambo Okumu; loving sister to Vivian Akinyi, Wendy Adhiambo, Stacy Achieng, Glen Ochieng, Joseph & Anne Ochieng, Bernard & Florence Onyango, Alice Majani (Upfield Kenya Ltd), Millicent Otieno (The Judiciary — Busia), CPA Linus Otieno (HIS Kenya Ltd) & Dorcas, Jeremiah (Bowmans Law) & Evelyn Omondi; Martin Okumu (Treasury — Kisii Branch) and Hellen. Cousin to Collins, Vincent, Lovelyn, the late Maxwell among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their house in Umoja II Estate House No. 898 for prayers, fundraising and arrangements for her send-off.

There will be a requiem service on Thursday 22nd July 2021 at ACK St. Augustine Church — Umoja 11 estate from 3.00pm.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta Farewell Home on Friday 23rd July 2021 to her father’s home in Sira, Ulwani, Ugunja Sub-county, Siaya County where she will be laid to rest on Saturday 24th July 2021.

Viona, as you rest in God’s hands, in our hearts you will live forever. Till We Meet Again!
