Appreciation

We the family of the late Waithaka Kioni, wish to express our deepest gratitude to God for giving us peace and comfort as we mourned the death of our Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Mentor and Friend; Waithaka Kioni.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our extended family, the many friends and well-wishers for their overwhelming support in honor of a great Man. We were greatly humbled and appreciate the support from the Sporting fraternity in Kenya, Africa and beyond. In particular we wish to mention The National Olympic Committee – Kenya, the Kenya Volleyball Federation and The Kenya Pipeline Fraternity for their immense support.

Further appreciation goes to the funeral organizing committee and the community of Kiamwangi in Gatundu South.

As a family we owe a huge debt of gratitude to many other individuals and social groups here in Kenya and in Dallas USA who assisted us in the burial preparations.

We are not able to thank each one of you individually and we humbly request that you accept this as an expression of our most sincere appreciation and gratitude. Your acts of kindness, big or small have created an endless ripple in our lives.
