It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the promotion to glory of our dear Dad,Walter Kahara Mukora, after a battle with cancer.

Loving husband to Lucy Wanjiru Mukora.

Adoring Son to the late Evans and Salome Mukora.

Loving Father to Martin and Nancy Kahara, Maureen and Glenn Phillips and Paul Ngugi.

A Caring Brother to the late John Mukiri, Sarah Wanjiru Wainaina, Beatrice Njambi, the late Albert Muchene and Jane Muniu.

In-law to the late Stanley and Mary Wathua, Ann Mukiri, the late Kamiti Wainaina, Esther Muchene, Kariba Muniu, the late Captain Ngugi Musa and Nellie Ngugi, Wambui and John Thuo Ngugi, Betty Ngugi, Margaret and Ben Mbugua,. Ruth and Andrea Ouko, Joyce Waceke and Slovacko, and Nancy Ngugi.

A loving grandfather to Alpha-Sarah Wanjiru, Gabriel Kahara, and many others. An uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Prayer meetings will continue at Karen Community Church from 5.00pm on Monday 26th June, 2023 and Tuesday 27″ June, 2023.

There will be a memorial and thanksgiving service on Thursday 29th June, 2023 at Karen Community Church from 10.00am.

It is the Lord who gave us Walter and it is Him that has taken him. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Romans 14:8 — ‘If we live, we live for the Lord, & if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.’
