Watson Ojwok Obonyo

It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Watson Ojwok Obonyo formerly of Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).

Son of the late Elisha Obonyo Ang’ila and Mama Matabel Ong’ong’a Obonyo of Kamagambo, Migori County.

Beloved husband to Eunia Atieno. Father to Stephen Ochieng’, William Ang’ila, Joel Okoth and Emily Anyango. Father-in-law to Yvonne Ochieng, and Elizabeth Midamba Ang’ila. Grandfather to Tracy, Sifa, Sydney and Zarah.

Son-in-law to the late Senior Chief Joel Okoth and the late Mama Perpetua Nyauja of Godkeyo, Karungu.

Brother to Nathaniel, Jared, the late Asha, Monica, the late Samuel, Pamela, and the late Elizabeth. Other siblings are Evlyne, Moses, Nelly, Frank and Linet. Watson was a cousin to Pamela, John, Silas, Herina, Tom, Arkipo, Naftaly, Onyuka among many others.

Brother-in-law to the late Flora, Harun, the late Julia, Grace, Elisha, the late George, the late Kepha, the late Esther, Prof. Alex, Judson & Eunice of Godkeyo, Karungu.

The cortege leaves Rosewood Nursing Home – Rongo, Migori county on Thursday, 13th July, 2023 for night vigil at home. The funeral service and burial will be on 14th July, 2023 at his home in Nyamarere, South Kamagambo, Migori County.
