It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God will that we announce the passing on of William Ndegwa Mburuga, at ICU – Coptic Hospital, on 9th June, 2023 after a long illness.

Husband to Mary Njeri. Father to Millicent Wangeci, Ian Mburuga and Joy Wakiuru. Grandfather to Lynn Njeri.

Son to the late Johnson Mburuga and Jerioth Wangui of Mukangu Kiririyaga County.

Son-in-law to the late Senior Chief Festus Wamae and Lydia Wakiuru of Kiamabara, Mathira.

Brother to Gladys Wangari, the late Janet Wanjiru, Alice Wambui, the late Joseph Thiongo, Purity Muthoni, Julius Maina, Agnes Wanjira, Nancy Njambi, Margaret Nditi, Jane Thugu, Anthony Mwai and Wilson Muriuki. Uncle to Many.

Funeral meetings are being held daily at their home in Kairiini Village, Kirinyaga.

The cortege will leave Jamii General Hospital on Friday, 16th June, 2023 at 8.00am, followed by funeral service at Kairiini Primary School at 10.00am. Thereafter, the burial will take place at the family home in Kairiini.
