It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved husband and father, William Thugi Chege, on 12th November, 2023.

Beloved son to the late George Chege Kamau and the late Jane Mbuya Chege of Muguga, Kiambaa.

Son-in-law to the late Fredrick Mwangi Kimotho and Joyce Nyokabi Mwangi of Kirenga, Lari.

He leaves behind his loving wife; Serah Chege. Father to Freddie and Janet Chege, Jane Chege, Sam and Eileen Thugi, the late Lina Chege, Maureen Chege, and Dr Joyce Chege. Grandfather to Louis Thugi, Lisa Chege, Serah Nyamsi Chege, Kayla Thugi, Zoe Chege, William Chege and Eli Chege. Great-grandfather to Kacie.

Brother to Augustine and Hannah Gatuha, the late Kamau Chege, Alice Nduta, Anthony and Jane Karoki, Rose Wairimu, Cecilia Nyambura and Paul Mbugua.

Brother-in-law to Grace and Geoffrey Njoroge, Keziah and the late Joseph Mungai Lucas, the late Jedidah and Elijah Mbuthia, the late Monica and Dr Arthur Gachugi, Samuel and the late Elizabeth Kimotho, the late Salome Kanyi and
Njehu, the late Amos and Irene Kamau, the late Damaris Wanjiku.

We are eternally grateful for the life he built with us and will cherish his memory forever.

Prayers and funeral meetings are being held daily at the Chege Residence and at All Saints Cathedral on Friday 17th November, 2023 and Monday 20th November, 2023 from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home on Thursday, 23th November 2023 at 800am followed by the funeral mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace, South B. Thereafter, the burial will take place at the family farm in Kongothiria Rukuma on the tame day

2nd Timothy 4:7 ~ “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
