William Wahungu Kimani

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the demise of William Wahungu Kimani which occurred 15th July 2018.

Husband of Hannah Njeri and the late Pauline Wangui. Father to Sister Margaret Wanjiku (Assumption Sisters of Nairobi), Lucy Njeri Njuguna (Kanyenyaini),  Peter Wahungu (Nyayo Ward), David Mucwe (Brookeside), Grace Wahungu (Matundura), Sammy Githuku (Public Health), Teresia Wambui (Gacie), Professor Geoffrey Wahungu (Director General, NEMA), Kenneth Wahungu (Ndururi Secondary), Virginia Mugo (Loreto Girls), Daniel Wahungu (Thlka Technical), Emma Wahungu (Karatina University), Martha Thuo (Muchorui Primary), Josphine Muigana (Murungaru), Harun Gnhuku (Qatar), Hellen Wanja (Matundura), the late Stephen Mbuthia, John Wando (Nairobi), Rosemary Njoki (Muruaki), Damaris Nduta (Fly-Over), Lucy Waithera (Fly-Over), Edward Njatha (Matundura) and Cecilia Nyamuya (North Kinangop Catholic Hospital).

Brother to Benson Githuku Kimani, Rhoda Wanjeri, Margaret Wangeci and the late Harun Githuku and the late Onesmus Nderi. Father in-law to Joseph Njuguna, Martha Wairimu, Beth Muthoni, AgnesWangeci, Tabitha Njeri, Lucy Kingo, Grace Nyambura, Plartzo Mugo, Peris Wanjiru, David Muigana, Elizabeth Waringa, Gedion Kinuthia, Henry Thuo, John Nginya, John Thuo and Juhus Thuo He leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Matundura North Kinangop and Nairobi St Paul’s Chapel for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves North Kinangop Catholic Hospital Mortuary on Friday 20th July 2018 at 8.00am for mass at his rural home Matundura North Kinangop at 11.00am.
