It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Winliss Wangari Muriithi, formerly of Auditor General’s Office on Saturday 02/12/2023, at Avenue Hospital – Thika.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Muriithi Makembu and the late Rahab Wangui Muriithi.
Winliss leaves behind a profound legacy of love and family, survived by her children Rahab Wangui, Wambui Mureithi, Maryann Wanjira and Ben Clinton Makembu. A cherished grandmother to Mfalme Mureithi Makembu and many others.
She is fondly remembered as a dear sister to Ephraim Wambugu and Christine Mugure of Kerugoya, the late Kahe Muriithi, the late Elizabeth Wambui, Leonard Weru and Agnes Wamuyu of Naivasha, the late Mary Wanjira, Wilson Muthee and Irene Wanjiru of Kerugoya, Daiga Muriithi and Wamuyu of Syokimau, the late Annastacia Wairimu
and John Muturi of Juja.
She played the roles of a cousin, auntie and friend to many.
Daily meetings will be held as follows: At PCEA Church, Ngoingwa – Thika, from 5:45PM to 7:00PM and at Juja Mahanaim Hotel from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. Your presence at these meetings and support during funeral arrangements are deeply appreciated.
A memorial mass in her honor is scheduled for Thursday 07/12/2023 at 4:00PM at PCEA Ngoingwa Church – Thika.
Relatives and friends will assemble at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Kabati), on Saturday 09/12/2023 at 7:00AM. The cortege departs from the Funeral Home at 8:00AM, followed by a funeral mass and burial at Mwichuiri, Narumoro on the same day at 12:00 Noon.
