Winnie Cherop Boen

Death has occurred of Winnie Cherop Boen, formerly an employee of the Ministry of Education, State Department for Post Training and Skills Development.

She was born in the year 1968 at Kimugul Village, Kapkatet Location, Bureti Sub-county Kericho County.

She was daughter to the late Andrew Boen and Roda Chepkemoi Boen of Kapkatet.

Sister to Joseah Rotich, Evaline Kirui, the late Josphine Boen, Edward Rotich, the late Nelly Boen, Betty Boen, Linner Korir, Christine Chepkosgei, Margaret Biegon and Janeth Boen.

Step-sister to the late Elizabeth Rono, the late Ruth, Ann Korir, Caroline Tonui, David Rotich and the late Zeddy Boen.

She was blessed with three children namely; Edith Korir, Brenda Ng’etich and Dennis Kiplang’at.

She was Mother-in-law to Wilbon Ng’etich and Emmanuel Korir.

The cortege will leave Kapkatet Hospital Funeral Home today, Wednesday, 6th April, 2022 at 12:00 noon, thereafter there will be church service and funeral arrangements at home from 1.00pm.

She will be laid to rest at her home in Kimugul village, Kapkatet Kericho County, tommorow Thursday, 7th April, 2022.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
