It is with humble acceptance of God that we announce the passing on WO I (Rtd) David Kipkering Arap Rono on Saturday, 18th October 2025.
David was the beloved son of the late Kiprono Arap Tanui and the late Eunice Tapkurgoi of Mutwot Farm, Nandi County. Beloved brother of late Chepaskul (Mutwot), Zipporah Cheptum (Kapkoi, Moi’s Bridge), Nelly Cherop (Narok), Mary (Barsombel, late Noah, Isaac and Lenah, all of Mutwot Nandi.
Loving husband of the late Rosa Chemagut Rono. He was a devoted and loving father of the late Dickson Kirwa, late Julius Kiptoo, Thomas Kipchirchir, Evans Kipchumba, Brigid Cheptepkeny, Betty Chebichii, Nicholas Kibet, Sophia Chepkoskei and Vivian Chepkurui.
He was cherished father-in-law of Truphosa Kirwa, Leah Rono, Magdalene Kotut, Christopher Chebii, Christopher Talam, Emily Kibet and loving grandfather of Nyreen, Webster, Shahame, Brian, Lyne, Daisy, Prccious,Alvin, Ivy, Vanessa, Natalie, Melissa, Natasha,Wayne, Shape, Dayne, MyaRosa, MariaRosa, MaliaRosa, Stacy and late Bradley. Great-grandfather of Davian and Deagan.
The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 30th October, 2025 at 12.00 noon. Burial will be at their home in Kibomet Location, Natsambu Sub-Location (Forest area) Trans-Nzoia County on Friday, 31st October. 2025.
