Yezina Yesse Gachanja
It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Yezina Yesse Gachanja formerly of Kenya Navy, Sick Bay, which occurred on 7th July, 2023 after a short illness in Mombasa.
Beloved wife of Joel Gachanja Kimari. Daughter of the late Yesse Kokani Reuben and the late Rehema Bitia Yesse of Kibusu village, Garsen,Tana River County. Step daughter to the late Pauline Yesse.
Daughter-in-law of Evanson Kimari Gachanja and the late Maria Wahura Kimari from Mathioya, Muranga Country.
Yezina was an adoring mother to Mary Wahura Gachanja, Rehema Bahati Gachanja and Kevin Kimari Gachanja. She leaves behind a grandchild Angel Ruri Lilla.
She was a step sister to the late Jillo Reuben, Daima, Rose, Salama, Daniel jivicha,Teressia, and Marietta.
She was sister-in-law to the late Stephen and Janesera Karuma, Fraciah Wanjiru and late Jackson Wanyeki, the late Wangui, Francis and Pamela Chege, Joseph and Jane Ngai, the late Kariuki, Johnson and Ann Mutua, Ann Njeri, Jane Wambui and David Kiige, and Flora Nyambere and Hon Chris Wamalwa.
Friends and relatives are meeting for daily prayers and funeral arrangements at the family home in Mombasa, Kariobangi South in Nairobi, and father in law’s home in Kiamuturi Village in Muranga.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday, 21st July, 2023 at 7.00am. Funeral service will be at the graveside starting from 11.00am followed thereafter by burial ceremony in Kiamuturi Village, Mioro Location, Kiru Division, Mathioya District in Muranga County.
The face we loved is missing, loved ones never die, they rest in God’s hands and live in our hearts forever.
