It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Yuanita Mwanzali Assava on Sunday, 13th November 2022.

Loving wife to Aggrey Assava. Adored and treasured mother to Clara & Denis Kaka, Chris & Lucy Essendi, David Akero and Ellaine Kavosa.

Daughter of the late Hon J. D. Otiende & Malita Avoga Otiende. Daughter-in-law of Nathan Mugita & the late Terry Kegehi Mugita.

Sister to the Mabel and the late Ernest Ebagole, the late Gilbert and Rose Kaiga, the late Aggrey Machayo, Arthur Chunguli and the late Norah and Jane, Grace and Elijah Chindia, Edith and the late Ayub Kithinji, & Winnie and Brown Makotsi.

Sister-in-law to Fanice and the late Henry Malova, Lynette Ingasia, Peter Mugita, the late Richard & Everline Essendi, Rose Mideva, Beatrice Kavosa, Madeline and the late Ronnie Ukiru.

In-law to Dr. & Mrs B. M. Kilonzo and the late Dr. Paul Ndarua and Mrs Mary Assumpta Ndarua Doting and loving grandmother to Ailani,Tamara, Kyla, Mugita, Marita, Myra, Jonathan, Ethan and Samadi. She was a cousin, auntie and friend to many.

Meetings will be held on Tuesday, 15th November 2022 and Wednesday, 16th November 2022 at United Kenya Club from 5.30p.m. She will be laid to rest at the family home in Kitale on Saturday, 19th November 2022.
